Forney ISD held a special all-executive meeting to consider Real Property and Personnel

Dec. 04, 2023 Forney ISD Board recognized students, reviewed new calendar, considered attendance zone maps and a large pile of chromebooks.

Forney ISD approved a lower tax rate during its August 07, 2023 meeting.

At the end of the May 16 meeting, Trustee Barbara Jo Green announced her desire to resign, citing health and family reasons. The board accepted her resignation.
She then suggested Mr. Idemudia as a replacement - the board reviewed his resume, then approved appointing Dr. Michael Idemudia for the remainder of her term.
