Forney Architectural Review Board approves renovation

During its July 13, 2016 meeting, the Forney Architectural Review Board met and (this is a preliminary report, subject to revision):

• Mr. Morgan acted as board chair, as the previous chairperson did not apply for reappointment.
  
• Held public hearing re: request for a certificate of appropriateness, in accordance with the Historic Overlay Zone district regulations, for renovations to the exterior elevations of the main structure located at 118 E. Brooks Street.
  After a brief discussion about material colors, drainage, the request was approved.
