Forney Education Foundation Hosts 5th Annual Antlers and Tutus Fun Run
December 9th - Presented by Autos of Forney with Title Sponsor Smoothie King
 
FORNEY – The Forney Education Foundation will host its 5th Annual Antlers and Tutus Fun Run on December 9th at 8:00 AM in Gateway at Willett Elementary. This event will include a 1-mile fun run and timed 5K with 5K runners eligible for placement medals of 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the following age groups, both male and female: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Registrants will receive a limited edition race shirt, breakfast with Santa, and children running the 1 mile Fun Run will receive a finisher medal. All proceeds from the event support the Forney Education Foundation and its mission to enhance the quality of education for students and teachers in Forney ISD. This event is presented by Autos of Forney with title sponsor Smoothie King and event sponsor Linebarger.
After the Fun Run, the Forney Police Department is hosting A Very Merry Christmas for special need children that includes sensory stations, bounce houses, and a sensory Santa. The Forney Legacy Project will also be hosting their Holly Jolly Market from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM inside Willett Elementary so you can wrap up all of your holiday shopping and grab a bite to eat at one of the food trucks.
